Connection Errors
Common connection problems and how to fix them
If you're having trouble connecting to PlateouMC, here are the most common problems and how to fix them.
Invalid Session
Cause: You are not properly logged into your Minecraft account or have another client already running.
How to Fix:
- • Restart your Minecraft client completely
- • Log out and back into your launcher
- • If using TLauncher, relaunch the game entirely
- • Last Resort: Change your client and or version
Not Logged Into a Microsoft Account
Cause: If you're using TLauncher, you chose a username already owned by a premium account
Examples of taken usernames: Notch, DanTDM, Dream
How to Fix:
- • Change your username to something original and unused
- • Cracked players cannot claim premium usernames because premium users take priority
Connection Reset
Cause: Your internet connection is struggling to connect to the Minecraft server or dropping packets.
How to Fix:
- • This is mainly on our end because of server hardware
- • Switch to a better Wi-Fi or wired connection
- • Use a VPN to get a better route to the server
- • Wait 30 seconds and try reconnecting
